Originally founded in 1944 as the Personnel and Industrial Relations Association (PIRA) by a small group of Los Angeles personnel administrators, PIHRA has grown to serve seventeen professional chapters, nine student chapters and three specialty groups. PIHRA has a dedicated staff and is headquartered in Gardena, CA.

Applying for a PIHRA Student Membership
Although professional memberships typically cost $150 for 12 months, students only have to pay $30 for the same deal!
In order to obtain a PIHRA student membership:
After you submitted your completed application, you will obtain your student membership account information from PIHRA Central by e-mail (email@example.com). According to PIHRA's membership policy, membership is non-transferable, non-refundable, and valid for one year from the date of its creation. If you would like to renew your student membership, you are required to go through the application process again.
